Good product March 3, 2010 cooking master Work as it said. Even work on my HP wireless keyboard and mouse. It just a little bit slow when switching on computers.
Great switch February 27, 2010 Edward T. Harris This is a great switch which worked as advertized straight out of the box and with ease of installation.
Seems to do the trick! February 27, 2010 blue sky (washington dc) This unit works as advertised. I run a small video production shop. We wanted our editors to be able to have two workstations, one for editing, one for rendering, at the same desk. This unit allows the editors to operate both computers from one set of keyboard, mouse and monitor. Only draw back is every so often the things jam up, and you get an error message in windows XP - "USB device not working properly". You then have to turn off both computers to reset it. :( Other than that it works great.
Doesn't Work with Standby Mode February 26, 2010 B. Zapushek (IL, USA) This switcher works great with one very important exception. It doesn't work when coming out of standby mode. Considering the importance and common use of power management, this is no small problem and makes it completely pointless. Just buy a manual switcher... You have to do it manually every time the computer powers up, anyway.
Exactly what I needed February 7, 2010 Ryan D. Campbell (Colorado, USA) My girlfriend and I moved into a new place... both of us have desktop computers but only one monitor was worth keeping and there is only one desk... this handy gadget allows us to share the same monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, and microphone, while giving us the ability to switch between computers with the click of a button! Works perfectly and looks cool too!
