This external drive works just great, it is just plug and play. It burns CD's and DVD's very fast, It comes with a Y usb cable so you can plug in two usb cables if your laptop doesnt draw enough power. I got along just fine with one USB for everything. Overall it is a great product for a very good price.

Received a great deal through Amazon with the new Chase credit card promotional rebate; and rebate from Azus. Package received in a reasonable time. Worked well out of the box. Burning software supplied worked well. Requires a codec download to watch DVD's, but I found a free one that worked well. I used it to install windows on an old laptop with a bad optical drive.

i am very please with my new CD Burner/Readable/Writeable Equipped with everything i need for mi dvd burning cd burn i do alot for mi musica studio new york city when i am at mi casa. it just work so well and wa so simple to install en mi netbook as mi desktop. i am SO happy,Reviews are overwhelming here with just a FEW bad ones as they say in life YOUR NOT ABLE TO PLEASE EVERYONE! lol but i m here to say along with most

great device for reading cd's as to burn cds,just a great product by again ASUS me and mi Netbook/desktop are very happy to receive it within 1 day on a saturday at that i love AMAZON. and the white with mi matching white netbook and pink desktop it look so good with it matching perfectly i love this device as price JUST right as always at AMAZON.
